Training
Aim
To train young students into well rounded personalities for selection as officers into the Armed Forces through NDA/NA/TES.
Mission
To help students to be focused into joining the Armed Forces on Completion of Class X/ XII
Methodology
- Provide focused and goal oriented training to Cadets.
- Equip the Cadets with required intellectual and Physical skills.
Character Building
Personality building to include Leadership Qualities, Communication Skills, Public Speaking, Self Confidence, Social Adaptability, Physical Fitness, Mental Strength, Group Behaviour, Team Spirit and Life Skills.
Training will be given under the following heads
Academics
- Coaching for Agniveer Entrance Exam
- Outdoor Training for Physical Fitness
Physical Training and Games
- The aim will be to ensure that all cadets (Boys & Girls) are in good physical condition to undertake the rigors of training in the Armed Forces.
- All Cadets will have Physical Training in the morning for 30 mins. and Games in the evening for 45 mins.
- JATA provides facilities for Games and Obstacle courses.
- Drill – Drill improves discipline, posture, turnout, bearing and smartness while moving. All Cadets will pass the minimum drill test as per Armed Forces standards.
Discipline
Cadets are expected to follow all orders and instructions meticulously. Punctuality will be ensured for all parades and functions. Drill is an important part of training at JATA.
